The Villa of Pope Alessandro Ludovisi and his nephew, Ludovico Ludovisi. It is filled with works of art painted by a myriad of artists, including Giovanni Francesco Barbieri. Barbieri painted the ceiling fresco of Aurora in the casino of the Villa Ludovisi. The villa also contained early attempts at statuary work and the Ludovisi throne, which was excavated from a Republican temple dedicated to Venus. Other notable works include Barbarian Chieftain and his Wife and the Ludovisi sarcophagus.
