Richmond is a suburban town in southwest London, England. It features many parks and open spaces, including Richmond Park and Richmond Hill. The town was founded due to Henry VII’s building of Richmond Palace in the sixteenth century, and it was a favorite residence of Elizabeth I, who died there.
