Leighton House
The Leighton House Museum is located in the affluent Holland Park district of west London. It was commissioned as a residence and studio by the artist Frederic Leighton and designed by the architect George Aitchison. Construction began in the 1860s, and the house has been open as a museum since 1929. The museum’s collection includes work by Leighton and various members of the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood.
