Uppercross is located in Somersetshire. Mr. and Mrs. Musgrove, the parents of Charles, Louisa and Henrietta, live in the Great House at Uppercross. Charles and Mary live in the Uppercross cottage. The cottage was a quarter mile off from the Great House. “Uppercross was a moderate-sized village, which a few years back had been completely in the old English style, containing only two houses superior in appearance to those of the yeomen and the labourers” (Chapter 5). Anne spends much of her time at Uppercross cottage with Mary.

The first picture is Tyntesfield House, located in North Somerset and part of the National Trust. I had trouble finding images for Uppercross, but it would have been an estate similar.
